where does the time go?
I guess I forgot about my blog LOL. So what have we been up to. We went to the Pittsburgh Zoo and really enjoyed it. Hope to go back once a month during good weather. Bought a membership. This week the boys are in basketball "camp" which is 2 hours each morning. baseball is finishing up. in 2 weeks they start swimming lessons. the town carnival starts soon. we have lots more trips to pittsburgh planned.
i am still trying to get a handle on unschooling. not that i want to do it. if its what works best for j, then maybe. sort of attempting unschooling now. frankly, too busy with life most of the time to worry about doing a lesson. but we will.....the 3 r's for sure, and fiar, and we have plenty of science books and supplies, we could just do science everyday and incorporate all other subjects! hey, science based curriculum!
the books i ordered for came today, 6 volumes of just re-published choose your own adventures! he started one, then put it down...he seems to prefer reading in the evenings, so i anticipate him reading tonight. i haven't read to the other kids yet today. there is so much i want to do with them, and i am so tired....
